About
Synopsis
Kite is a darkly comic fable about obsession, impulsiveness, and generally not quitting while you’re ahead from writer-director Samuel Marlow. It stars Edward Toll (World War Z) as a young man who finds a woman’s handbag left unattended while cutting through a park.
While pausing to sip his coffee and check his phone, he spots a kite that has become stuck in a tree. Either no one else has spotted it or no one care, because only seems to have noticed it. After several unsuccessful attempts to get the kite down, a gust of wind takes it and leads the young man on a cat-and-mouse game of chase that will not end well.
